Get Fit for Free in a Gorgeous, Natural Setting.

February is already here...how are those new year's resolutions to get/stay fit going? Hiking is an incredibly rewarding way to keep up your "get fit" goals.

I'm organizing a hiking club for anyone who wants to join. No prequisites required! All you need is a good pair of walking/hiking shoes, 1-2 hours a week (to start) and the will to commit! There are no age or fitness requirements here. There is something for everyone!! It's doesn't matter what your situation is, STAYING FIT AND ACTIVE IS KEY TO EVERYONE'S HEALTH!!

There are 3 levels of ease/difficulty....read on.

Level 1--- Basically this is a nature walk. Easy; likened to taking a leisurely stroll thru the park. Designed for those who are just beginning to get back into shape, those who want to take it slow but still keep the heart pumping and the circulation flowing. (see below for more benefits).

Level 2--- This is the level for you if you are already somewhat active and want to push yourself a bit more. This level includes mostly uphill walking (a natural stairclimber). You will be rewarded with a tight booty and amazing panoramic views of LA. (the views come immediately the tight booty (unless you are already blessed) will follow.

Level 3--- At this level, we will be doing some uphil walking and some moderate rock climbing. Speed is what we focus on here to maximize the workout and see the benefits a lot faster. Your rewards are an exhilirating feeling and equally exhilirating views...not to mention a rocking bod.

If you are interested, email me with the level you are interested in as well as the best day of the week and possible time you will be available. Weekends hikes will most likely take place in the a.m. while weekday hikes will happen in the evening. No exact times have been set yet so I can get more feedback.

Don't forget to forward this info to anyone you think might be interested. It's open to everyone. Most hikes will take place in Griffith Park and surrounding trails but we will sometimes venture out to Altadena's Eaton Canyon, Runyon Canyon (where the stars walk)in Hollywood and the many trails in Angeles Forest....and many more.

If you get nothing else out of this, you will benefit from fresh air, chatting up and spending time with friends and meeting new people. Make the commitment, there's benefits in just sticking to your goals!!!

Hope to hear from you and see you soon on the trails!!
